Rakesh Lawaju is a web enthusiast, programmer, trainer, and entrepreneur from Nepal 🇳🇵, with extensive experience in the web industry since 2008 💻. He’s the Founder & CEO of One Loop Studio Pvt. Ltd 🚀 and was the co-founder & CTO of WEN Solutions.

Rakesh has led the development of the WP Travel plugin and other popular plugins and themes, and currently heads the Gutenberg plugin Gutenify.com 🔧. He also provides consulting services to international companies 🌍.

Throughout his career, Rakesh has worked with globally recognized companies like 1E, WPMU DEV, Graph Paper Press, and Foundr, managing large-scale projects, plugins, and themes 🛠️.

He’s a key player in the WordPress community, having been on the organizing team for WordCamp Nepal (2022, 2024 & 2025) and WordCamp Kathmandu (2016, 2017 & 2018) 🎉. Rakesh contributed to the WordPress core during the release of WordPress 4.4 “Clifford” and helped translate WordPress into Nepali 🇳🇵.

As a frequent speaker at WordCamp events (like WordCamp Nepal 2015 and WordCamp Kathmandu 2019 & 2023), he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others 🎤. Rakesh has also been the Contributor Day plugin table lead at WordCamp Asia 2024 🌏, further contributing to the growth and development of the WordPress community.

Rakesh is also passionate about teaching web development, focusing on React, CSS, PHP, and WordPress, and loves helping others grow their skills 💡📚. His dedication to knowledge-sharing and advancing WordPress continues to inspire those around him! ✨
